Hi, I'm Akash

Moments to Frames Studio is a boutique maternity and family photography studio located in Barrhaven, Ottawa. My passion for capturing maternity and family milestones stems from a deep appreciation for the fleeting, beautiful moments that define our lives.

I started this studio to give families more than just photos—to provide a thoughtfully curated experience designed to celebrate the magic of the wait and the beauty of timeless family bonds. From personalized styling guidance to gentle, natural posing, my philosophy is to make your portrait experience as elegant and stress-free as possible.

Every detail in our studio is intentionally crafted to help you feel confident, radiant, and connected during this meaningful season. Our studio proudly serves families across Barrhaven, Nepean, Kanata, Manotick, and throughout Ottawa.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What should I wear to my session?

For maternity sessions, we provide access to a wide range of exclusive maternity dresses (wardrobe included). For family portraits, no studio wardrobe is provided, but we will provide a consultation for outfit and dress options to ensure everyone looks well-coordinated.

How far in advance should I book my maternity session?

It is highly recommended to book your maternity session early in your second trimester to ensure availability. The best time for the shoot is usually between 28-34 weeks, when your bump is beautifully round but you are still comfortable.

How long until I receive my photos?

The very next day, an online selection gallery is shared for choosing your favorites. Once you've made your selections, the editing timeline is 5–7 days. Your final, beautifully retouched downloadable full-resolution images are then delivered via a second gallery.

Do you offer outdoor sessions?

At Moments to Frames, our brand focuses primarily on providing an exquisite, climate-controlled studio experience to capture refined, editorial-style portraits. This allows us perfect control over lighting and elements year-round.

Can I bring my partner or other children to a maternity session?

Absolutely! Partners and children are always welcome to join the session. There is no additional charge for them!

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

A $50 CAD online retainer is required to book, which is non-refundable if you cancel. However, one reschedule is allowed free of cost after payment! Any additional reschedules are $25 CAD per occurrence.
